For some reason, I think that it would look better with the left hand part of the image being extended more. I think it would help a little bit with the feel. It just feels that the dragon and the figure take up too much of the image. I know that your finished with this, so I just thought I would give you something to think about.
Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful image, especially the colors, as I love the hint of purple in the dragons neck. Well anyway, just my 2 cents. Keep up the great work.
I especially like the red of the cloak, and the way you have blended the colours.

The amount of detail is just right for this image, I think. Not overly details so that we get lost in that, nor too few that we cannot fully realize the image.
